Life can be so complicated.  Somtimes, it can leave you feeling vulnerable and raw.  But, what if you are stronger than you imagined?  What if, with a little help, you can find the tools to endure, recover, heal and grow?

My goal as a therapist is to partner with you to figure out better ways to manage the turmoil of life and cope with change and loss. I will encourage you to see that you can endure the pain and show you that there is a path forward.

I specialize in Perinatal Loss, Reproductive Mental Health and Maternal Mental Health.  This is a very important part of my practice and covers issues such as infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, recurrent pregnancy loss, TFMR, depression and anxiety during pregnancy, premature birth, NICU experiences and postpartum adjustment.

In the more than two decades that I have been working as a psychotherapist, I have also come to develop a speciality in working with individuals struggling to come to terms with various types of grief and loss, as well as those experiencing life transitions such as changing jobs, divorce, re-marriage and becoming a parent.  In our sessions together, I will offer you emotional validation and support, ask questions, provide education and information, teach skills, encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, support you in connecting with self-compassion and guide you towards acceptance and healing.  Most importantly, I will create a holding space- a place that feels safe and secure to sit with your pain and vulnerability.

Education and Training

I am a graduate of Columbia University, Graduate School of Social Work, New York, NY and possess a license to practice independently in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I also have additional post-graduate training in maternal mental health, trauma and grief/loss.
