Couple Smiling at Each Other

Erin Jameson Saltzburg, LCSW

Life can be so complicated.  Somtimes, it can leave you feeling vulnerable and raw.  But, what if you are stronger than you imagined?  What if, with a little help, you can find the tools to endure, recover, heal and grow?
My goal as a therapist is to partner with you to figure out better ways to manage the turmoil of life, change and loss. I will encourage you to see that you can endure the pain and show you that there is a path forward towards recovery, healing and growth.

I specialize in Reproductive and Maternal Mental Health and Loss.  This is a very important part of my practice and covers issues such as infertility, difficult pregnancies, depression and anxiety during pregnancy, perinatal and infant loss, premature birth and postpartum depression and anxiety.

In the nearly two decades that I have been working as a psychotherapist, I have also come to develop a speciality in working with individuals struggling to come to terms with various types of grief and loss, as well as those experiencing life transitions such as changing jobs, divorce, re-marriage and becoming a parent.

In our sessions together, I will offer you emotional validation and support, ask questions, provide education and information, teach skills and encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.  Most importantly, I will create a holding space- a place that feels safe and secure to sit with your pain and vulnerability.

Education and Training

I am a graduate of Columbia University, Graduate School of Social Work, New York, NY and possess a license to practice independently in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I also have additional post-graduate training in maternal mental health and grief/loss.
